Abdul Hussein Fakher and a number of teachers, where the graduation projects of the fourth stage students nominated for the festival were discussed by the arbitration committee headed by Prof. Dr. Talib Muhammad Nayef / Department of Chemical Engineering and Prof. Dr. Rana Afif, Director of the Nanotechnology Research Center and Prof. Dr. Laith Salem / Responsible for the Cultural Relations Division at the University.

The fourth stage team won first place in the final match of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department Football Championship, after defeating the first stage team in the match, which ended with a score of two goals to one. The match took place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the university stadium.

The winning goals were scored by student players Rasoul Sabah and Harith Khaled, and match prizes were distributed in the presence of Administrative Assistant Prof. Dr. Ramzi Sayhoud Hameed and the head of the branch, Prof. Dr. Imad Abdel Hussein Fakher.
